Pedestrian Network

A network of pedestrian groups and individuals is being formed in order to give pedestrians a strong independent national voice, and to share information on campaigning and best practice.

There used to be a UK Pedestrians Association but this was replaced in around 2001 by Living Streets which is a charity. It is unable to campaign effectively because it receives most of its funding from the DfT and so has a conflict of inerest.

Get in touch with us if interested in linking up.

Groups involved so far are
  • Liverpool Pedestrians: livepedestrian@gmail.com ; @livepedestrian ;
  • Wirral Pedestrians Association: wirralpedestrians@gmail.com ; @WirPedestrians ; http://www.wirralpedestrians.org.uk
