National Federation of Pedestrian Groups
A number of groups are discussing the formation of a national federation of pedestrians, or a national federation of pedestrian groups in order to give pedestrians a strong independent national voice.
There used to be a UK Pedestrians Association but this was replaced in around 2001 by Living Streets which is a charity. It is unable to campaign effectively because it receives most of its funding from the DfT and so has a conflict of inerest.
